Eleanor Marie Bisson-Carter was born May 15, 1936 in Towaoc, CO the daughter of Simon Ray and Dolorita (Tapia) Jones. She passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Four Corners Health Care Center in Durango, CO at the age of 83.
Eleanor is survived by her children, Scott Barr (Angel) of Cortez, CO, Deanna Barr of Spokane, WA, Cindy New (Paul) of Mosca, CO, and Carol Jones of Colby, KS; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Jay Carter; and her brother, Simon Ray Jones.
Services for Eleanor will be planned for later this summer.
