Dustin James Ford

Funeral services for Mancos resident Dustin James Ford will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Mesa Trails Cowboy Church located at 281 Menefee Street in Mancos, CO. Interment will follow at Summit Ridge Cemetery. After interment, a luncheon will be served at Mesa Trails Cowboy Church.
Dustin was born to Rachel Ann Martinez and Dustin Jay Ford on October 23, 2005 in Las Vegas NV. He passed away on July 22, 2021 in Mancos, CO.
Dustin was born with an exceptionally bright inquisitive mind. Early testing validated his razor-sharp intellect. Always athletic, he was energetic and always on the go. He was enthusiastic about basketball, and skateboarding. Dustin had a natural talent for sketching, and when he had the chance, he loved to go hiking in the mountains. As a small boy and as he got older, he was busy building projects and working with his hands. He enjoyed puzzles such as a tackling a Rubik’s Cube in minutes or other intricate puzzles. He loved his little sisters and will be missed dearly and forever by all his family and friends until we see him again.
Surviving Dustin are his grandmother, Marie Richmond; his grandparents, Gary and Holly Martinez; his parents, Rachel Martinez and Dustin Ford; his step parents, Shahbazz Anwar, Andrea Ford, and Arthur Pulis; his sisters Jasmine Meccia, Jaidyn Ford, Anzelle Anwar, Ayrah Anwar, and Sophia Pulis.
