DOROTHY KETCHUM Graveside services for lifelong Towaoc resident Dorothy Ketchum will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22 at Towaoc Cemetery. A wake has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 21 at Dorothy Ketchum’s residence on Bear Dance Road beginning at 6 p.m. Dorothy was born on July 4, 1915 and she passed away on Friday, April 17, 2009 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 93. Dorothy was a resident at Valley Inn Nursing Home in Mancos. She was also a member of Spirit of God Church in Towaoc. Surviving Dorothy are her two daughters, Mary Ann Taylor and Audry Gregory; and one son, Harold Taylor; and a couple of grandchildren from Ignacio. She also leaves behind on step-grandchild from White Mesa; along with numerous family, friends, and relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Taylor; by her sons, Leroy Ketchum, and Roger (Whyte) Mills; and by her sister, Mable Ketchum all of Towaoc.
