David Kip Loyd

  A celebration of life for David Kip Loyd will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Lewis Arriola Community Center. Pastor Marvin Graves will officiate.

  David was born July 22, 1960 in Cortez the son of Jack Monroe and Wanda Elsie (Dennison) Loyd. He passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at his residence at the age of 63.

  Surviving David are his children, Genevie Echols of Austin, Minn., Jeremy Loyd of Pleasant View, Colo., and Jacob Loyd (Jodie) of Pleasant View, Colo.; his brother, Mike Loyd (Judy) of Cortez; and his grandchildren, Kaleb, Kameron, Rebekah, and Sariah Echols, Ellee and Casen Loyd, Whitley and Payton Loyd. David was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Kaden Echols; and by his siblings, John Loyd and Kathy Chaffin.
