Danny Raye "Dan" Daves

March 6, 1946 — November 2, 2021

Dan was born in Cortez, Colorado on March 6, 1946 to Grover and Mary Lois (Finley) Daves. He passed from this life on November 2, 2021 at the age of 75.
Dan married his sweetheart, Brenda Tate Daves, on July 6, 1968. They were blessed with 53 years of which they shared every aspect. They were also blessed with three children, Stacy, Destry, and Kimberly.
Dan was a farmer through and through. He was also a finish carpenter and his family has been blessed to have many special things he has built for them.
Dan’s pride and joy were his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Papa was so proud of all of them. He was blessed to be able to help form them into the people they are today. They were able to hunt, work, sing, and tell stories together. Dan loved the Lord and devoted his life to living for Jesus. His example will be treasured forever.
Dan, “Papa”, is survived by his wife, Brenda Daves; his children, Stacy (James) Leonard, Destry (Jennifer) Daves, and Kimberly Daves; his grandchildren, Brenna and Cassidy Leonard, Jessica (Justin) Guynes, Dillon (Breanna) Daves, Jay (Hannah) Daves, Annalynn Daves, Cooper Daves, Grover Daves, Brock Belt, Braedon Daves, and Harlow Kop; and his great grandchildren, Rylee Guynes, Norman Guynes, Braxton Daves, and Lincoln Daves.
