Charles Lee 'Charley' Whitehorn

Graveside services for Cortez resident Charles Lee 'Charley' Whitehorn will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Cortez Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2020 at Ertel Memorial Chapel.
Charley was born March 7, 1943 in Durango, CO the son of Charles D. and Dorothy (Smoot) Whitehorn. He passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at his residence at the age of 77.
Surviving Charley are his loving spouse, Nancy Ann Whitehorn of Cortez, CO; his children, Kerri Ann Whitehorn (Kym) of AZ, Kandy Kay Cruzan (Dan) of Cortez, CO, Stacie Conner (Bill) of Dolores, CO, Stephanie Hunt-Tanner of Durango, CO; his brother, Gene Arther Whitehorn of Farmington, NM; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Charley was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Lyndal Hunt; and his brother, Harold Dean Whitehorn.
