Obituary

Bryant Robinson Robb, 86, passed away on October 26, 2026 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on April 17, 1940 in Mancos, Colorado, to Arlo Taylor Robb and Harriet Robinson Robb.

Bryant graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Animal Science and served as a missionary in South Africa for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Before the age of 30, Bryant worked with his father to build a home in Mancos. That house became more than a place to live; it was the home where his children grew up. After his father passed in 1986, Bryant served as President of Robb Ranches, Inc until the end of his life.

Bryant loved his family. He was a devoted father and grandfather who took great joy in being a part of their lives. He attended countless activities for his children and grandchildren; helping with scout activities, coaching youth basketball, making special appearances at show and tell, and always engaging in spontaneous water gun fights and games of apple baseball. When it came to family and friends, Bryant’s loved ones always knew they could count on him to do what he could to help.

Bryant had an amazing sense of humor, always loved a good joke, and could never resist teasing. He was a natural storyteller who enjoyed making others laugh, often sharing amusing experiences and family memories. He also had a way of keeping the memories of loved ones alive, weaving past memories into everyday conversations. Bryant loved connecting with other people by having a good talk instead of a direct or brief conversation.

Bryant also had a lifelong interest in history and enjoyed learning about the past. He was the type that would read every informative plaque at a museum – to the dismay of family and friends. He loved traveling, taking cruises, and exploring new places. He also had an artistic eye and was a talented photographer before the age of digital cameras.

For the majority of Bryant’s life, he lived and worked in the beautiful Mancos Valley, a place he was proud to call home.

Bryant’s faith in Jesus Christ, in His Gospel, and in His Church were central to his life. Besides many fond Missionary memories in South Africa, he served as a Ward Seventy (now Mission Leader) and as a Temple Worker in the Denver Temple late in life. He owned and devoured numerous church books and scripture commentaries. When he wasn’t the Gospel Doctrine teacher, he was known as the scriptorian in the room.

Bryant is survived by his wife, Peggy Miller Robb; his children, Robert Robb (Deborah), Amanda Robb, Randon Robb (Judy), and Raegan Robb (Melissa); grandchildren, Benjamin, Rebecca, Sena, Aidan, Jessica and Stephanie; and great-grandchildren Milo and Ellie; his sister, Renee Gushen; and his brother, Arlo Robb. He is also survived by his former wife, Diana Evans Robb.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlo and Harriet Robb; his sister, Helen Thatcher; his brother, Joseph Robb; and his beloved granddaughter, Bria.
