Brandi Lynn Martinez, 40, of Cortez, Colorado was born July 30,1985, sadly passed away in Pueblo, Colorado, at UC Health Park View Hospital on July 13, 2026. A memorial service for Brandi will be held at Ertel Funeral Home in Cortez, Colorado on Thursday July 23rd at 2:00 p.m. The celebration of life will follow right after. Brandi is survived by her beloved husband Jed Martinez, Mother-in-law Jenny Martinez, Aunt Marcie Penasa, and Stepfather Steve Dibsie. Brandi was a local resident born and raised in Cortez she loved the outdoors, Brandi Graduated from Le Cordon Blu in Las Vegas, NV and mastered her Chef skills. Brandi was close to nature and loved all animals and creatures. She brought inspiration to those closest to her and had a loving heart. Brandi grew up on a cattle farm and raised sheep for 4-H during her childhood to teenage years, she was very active in the community of Montezuma County, Brandi loved rockhounding as hobby. Help us honor her memory with one last goodbye to an Angel flying high.
