Beth Norton Partner of Cortez, CO was born on May 11, 1927 in Panguitch, UT the daughter of Wm. Taylor and Elsie Dean Norton. She passed away on April 30, 2022 at Vista Grande in Cortez, CO at the age of 94.

Beth and Alfred were married on February 18, 1946 in Panguitch, UT. Three years later, they were sealed in marriage in the LDS Temple on October 17, 1949 in Salt Lake City, UT. Beth and her husband Alfred owned a furniture business for many years in Cortez, CO known as the Workshoppe Upholstery. Beth loved music and had a beautiful contralto voice. She enjoyed singing in church with the choir and often sang solo. She wrote poetry most of her adult life and shared them with her family. Beth was known for making fabulous pies. Any kind of pie was her specialty.

Surviving Beth are her daughters, Kathleen O’Brien, Sybil Carrillo, Anna Hansen, Ellen Stiles; her sons, Don Partner, and Karl Partner; 19 grandchildren; and 39 greatgrandchildren. Beth was preceded in death by her husband Alfred A. Partner; her daughter Diane; her grandson Joshua; and her granddaughter Amy. She had three sisters and five brothers who also preceded her in death.

Services will be held at Summit Ridge Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Beth will be laid to rest next to her husband Alfred, daughter Diane and grandson Joshua.
