Alan Christopher Niswander

Alan Christopher Niswander was born in Iowa City, Iowa, to Alvin and Shirley Niswander. He grew up in Oxford, Iowa. After moving to Colorado, he continued his love of fishing and hunting. He enjoyed working as a coal miner in Somerset, Colorado, for many years.

Alan was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Niswander; and brother, Arnold Niswander. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Scalf Niswander; mother, Shirley Niswander; brother, Andrew Niswander; sister, Selina Niswander Roth; and his eight children.
