William "Bill" Travis Meadows

WILLIAM TRAVIS "BILL" MEADOWS William Travis "Bill" Meadows passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colo. at the age of 65. Bill, as he was known to family and friends, was born the son of John Merle and Woodie Pearl (Travis) Meadows on February 17, 1950 in Cortez, Colo. A 1968 graduate of Montezuma-Cortez High School, Bill spent the next 45 years working as a cosmetologist, a job that brought him much satisfaction. He loved his clients! As his family shared, Bill adored his family; he was the best brother and uncle, and he was such a people magnet, he truly enjoyed just spending time talking and visiting. Bill was known for his kind and gentle heart. Bill loved to entertain and was a fabulous cook. His yard and his home were places of comfort. Bill belonged to an antique car club. Surviving Bill is his partner of 35 years, Ron Juzenas; his siblings, Bryan Meadows of Florence, Colo. Sandi Johnson of Vancouver, Wash., Gloria Loyd and husband, David of Cortez, Beverly Opferkuch of Cortez, and Liddy Rose and husband, Lloyd of Dolores; and numerous nieces and nephews that Bill adored and they adored him. Cremation is to take place with memorial services to be set at a later date.
