VICTOR LEON "VIC" HALL Victor Leon "Vic" Hall passed away at his Cahone home on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at the age of 83. He was born October 16, 1927 in Dove Creek to Thomas Cleveland and Margie Rena (Roberts) Hall. Vic proudly served his country in the US Army from 1950 to 1952. He married Phyllis Maurine Rice on October 18, 1952 in Altura, Calif. They lovingly shared 58 years of marriage. Vic was a carpenter by trade working in heavy construction. He worked constructing power plants, highway construction in Utah and in the construction of McPhee Dam. He was a member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters. Vic loved to garden and to collect stamps and coins. Surviving Vic are his wife, Phyllis Hall of Cahone; his children, Steven Hall and wife, Connie of Junction City, Kans., Vickie Cooke and husband, Robert of Cahone, Timothy Hall of Cahone, and Derek Hall and wife, Kim of Arvada, Colo.; by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Vic was preceded in death by his parents; by his sister, Lenore Neely; and by five brothers, Thurman Hall, Richard Hall, Carlos Hall, Wayne Hall, and Lloyd Hall. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
