Sterling Whiskers Dutchie

STERLING WHISKERS DUTCHIE Funeral services for lifelong Towaoc resident Sterling Whiskers Dutchie will be held at 10 a.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel on Friday, April 24. Burial will follow at Blanding City Cemetery. Sterling was born February 6, 1960 the son of Paul Lang Dutchie Sr. and Lolita Whiskers Dutchie. He passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at his residence at the age of 55. Sterling enjoyed his life and his work. He spent time working as a bouncer in numerous clubs in the area. In his free time, Sterling enjoyed throwing darts and playing pool. He liked hunting and spending time country dancing. Sterling was a happy, outgoing individual who was extremely courteous and kindhearted. Surviving Sterling are two sons, Benjamin Eagle Dutchie of Draper, Utah and Terrance Weeks also of Towaoc; a stepson, Malik Eagle Benson of Draper, Utah; his grandmother, Lola Mike of Blanding, Utah; two brothers, Sylvester W. Dutchie and wife, Stephanie A. Lehi, and Paul W. Dutchie Jr., all of Towaoc; one sister, Pauline Duthcie also of Towaoc; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends. Sterling was preceded in death by his mother, Lolita Whiskers Dutchie; and a sister, Felita A. Dutchie.
