Shirlie Anne Schlotfelt

A memorial service will be held for Cortez resident Shirlie Anne Schlotfelt at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cortez, CO. Pastor Luke Scheele will officiate.
Shirlie was born September 25, 1932 in Caroll County, IL the daughter of Henry Herman and Anna Christina (Koch) Schroeder. She passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Vista Grande in Cortez, CO at the age of 89.
Surviving Shirlie are her children, Marcy Schlotfelt of Cedar Rapids, IA, Marty Jo Denicus of Davenport, IA, and Kyle Schlotfelt (Lisa) of Munds Park, AZ; two grandchildren, Rachel Denicus of Waterloo, IA, and Jenna Denicus of Davenport, IA; and one great grandchild coming in October. Shirlie was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Don Schlotfelt; her son-in-law, Robert Denicus; and her siblings, Ruth Hook, Marvin Schroeder, and Martin Schroeder.
