Shelly Neely

Shelly Neely passed away at the age of 58 on September 26, 2022 in Dallas, Texas surrounded by her family.

Shelly was born August 14, 1964 in Cortez, Colorado. She spent most of her formative years in Dove Creek, Colorado and attended Dolores County High School, where she met her husband of 40 years, Dewey Neely. They had three children; Krystal, Brandon and Chelsea. Dewey and Shelly landed in Aledo, Texas to live by their family and she cherished every moment with her grandsons. When she wasn’t busy spoiling her family, she and Dewey tended to their flowers, garden and chickens. Shelly dedicated her life to helping others. She was steadfast in her faith and was admired and loved for her heart of gold.

Shelly is survived by her husband Dewey; daughter Krystal Neely, son Brandon (Kori) Neely, and daughter Chelsea Neely; grandsons Deklyn, Griffin and Bowen Neely; mother Candice Hudgeons; and brother Dean Hudgeons.

She is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Hudgeons.
