SEGRID DEE DAVIDSON Funeral services for longtime area resident Segrid Dee Davidson will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Pastor Kent Slyter will officiate. Interment will take place at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Riverside, Calif. where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Alvin. Segrid was born May 30, 1933 in Cortez the daughter of Robert and Sylvia (Weems) Cellar. She passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at her Dolores home at the age of 78. A devoted member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church, Segrid also belonged to the Christian Women's Club. She taught first grade at Van Buren Elementary School in Riverside, Calif. for many years. Segrid was also a member of the Summit Ridge Women's Club and she volunteered numerous hours at the Dolores Public Library. In her free time, Segrid enjoyed baking and reading. Surviving Segrid are her sons, Charles Davidson and wife, Doris of Dolores and Robert Davidson and wife, Robyn of Riverside, Calif.; her grandchildren, Rebecca Davidson of Dolores, Shawna Davidson and Allen Davidson both of Riverside, Calif.; her brother, Ralph Cellar and wife, Guyanne of Arriola; her sister-in-law, Linda Cellar of Durango; and her life-long friend, Virginia Culver. Preceding Segrid in death were her parents; her husband, Alvin E. Davidson; and her siblings, Joe Cellar and Roberta Pope.
