SAMUEL XARIUS GORDON Memorial services for Samuel Xarius Gordon will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church. Reverend Leigh Waggoner will officiate. Following the service a celebration of Sam's life will be held at the Carpenter Natural Area at approximately 4:30 p.m. Please use the east entrance off of Mildred Road. Sam was born December 14, 1995 in Santa Fe, N.M. the son of Sebastian Stuart Gordon and Jeanette Lee Phillips. He passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Mercy Regional Hospital at the age of 20. Surviving Sam are his mother, Jeanette Phillips of Cortez; and his sisters, Natasha Gordon, Raquel Lucero Schnell and Elizabeth Schnell, all of Cortez. Sam was preceded in death by his father, Sebastian Gordon.
