Sally Ann Canon

May 7, 1945 — January 19, 2022

Sally Ann Canon was called home by our Heavenly Father on January 19, 2022.
She lived her life to the fullest and once her mind was made up - well, if you knew her - if that was the way she wanted it --- there was no one that could challenge or change her decision. That was how it was going to be.
Mom definitely expressed that confidence throughout her life by
her work ethic;
her independence;
she spoke what was on her mind;
she loved to make people laugh;
she did not know a stranger;
she always had a hug to give;
she loved to sit and visit and continuous communication to family and friends;
she had a positive outlook and a big heart;
she expressed her appreciation for the life she had and the people in it;
she loved to give everyone a hard time -even if it was a person she just met;
and never just offered lip service- she was a doer and what she did, she did it well and God Bless the persons that could keep up with her!
Mom loved the outdoors. Her favorite activity was fishing! It was always a competition and she always had the most bites, the biggest fish, and the most animated fish stories - no one could out do her.
Mom’s most valuable treasure was her family. She never missed an opportunity to tell each of us how proud and how much she loved each of us. She was the center of our existence. She made sure that we enjoyed every minute together. Any activities, working or playing, she would make it fun and we walked away looking forward to the next time we would get together. She would tell us often, “that we had created many memories, we were loved and that we couldn’t have asked for a better life. She was grateful for what she had and we were always together no matter where we were.”
Mom has left a huge void in many hearts. Many have expressed how much they will miss her smile, laugh, stories, hugs, orneriness, the jerky and goodies she made to give them, the wonderful person she was, and the joy she brought to their lives.
Sally Canon is survived by her children, Sally Lee (Gary), Danny (Leah), Floyd, and Steven (Maria); seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three sisters; many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends that were dearly loved and much appreciated by Mom.
In honoring Mom’s wishes, she requested no service to be held.
