Ross Lansing

ROSS LANSING Funeral services for Ross Lansing, a lifelong resident of the Aneth area will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 12 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Lansing Family Cemetery in Aneth. Ross was born July 24, 1970 in Cortez the son of John R. and Betty H. (Begay) Lansing. He passed away near Aneth on Saturday, July 8, 2006 at the age of 35. On August 10, 1994 Ross married Kimberly Bitsuie in Ganado, Ariz. They were blessed with five children, Nicole, John Ross, Jade, Amber and Tiara. Ross was employed as an oil rig motorhand/driller for Patterson Drilling Co. He loved horse racing and training horses and was involved in the sport in Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. Ross was a skilled mechanic and enjoyed welding and building homes. Surviving Ross are his wife of 11 years, Kimberly Lansing of Aneth; his children, Nicole Lansing, John Ross Lansing, Jade Lansing, Amber Lansing, and Tiara Lansing all of Aneth; parents, John R. and Betty H. Lansing of Aneth; and his siblings, Russell Lansing of Kirtland, N.M., Harriett Lansing, Heather Lansing, Tina Lansing all of Aneth, Wanda Lansing of Blanding, Pearl Lee of Dolores, and Ursula Lansing of Aneth.
