RODNEY WESTON JACKS A celebration for Rodney Weston Jacks life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 8 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Weston was born January 10, 1983 the son of Rodney Wade and Terry Denise (Henderson) Jacks. He passed away on December 1, 2016 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 33. On July 16, 2016, Weston married Ashly Miller at Bradfield Bridge. Weston loved his job at Waste Management. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing, camping and hunting. Weston's family and friends meant the world to him, he loved them dearly. Surviving Weston are his wife, Ashly Miller of Cortez; his mother, Terry Hernandez (Edgardo) of Cortez; his children, Colton Jacks of Animas, N.M., Storey Jacks of Tucson, Ariz., Lucy Jacks, Talon Jacks, and Blake Jacks all of Cortez; by his sister, Katie Mikkelson (Travis) of Cortez; by his grandparents, Maxine Jacks of Douglas, Ariz. and Judith and Gary Hale of Cortez; and by his step-mother, Karla Jacks of Benson, Ariz. Weston was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Jacks; by his brother, Jonathan Jacks; and by his grandfather, John Jacks.
