Robert Henry Breedlove Sr.

ROBERT HENRY BREEDLOVE SR. Graveside services for a longtime resident of Memphis, Texas Robert Henry Breedlove Sr. will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 8 at the Dove Creek Cemetery, Dove Creek, Colorado. Robert was born the son of Albert A. and Leona (Selby) Breedlove on May 2, 1912 in Sandy, Okla. He passed away at Vista Grande Inn, in Cortez, Colorado on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the age of 99. Self educated, Robert was a master of many trades. He belonged to a generation that believed in hard work; he drew satisfaction from his dedication to that belief. Robert was a member of the First Baptist Church of Memphis, Texas. Surviving Robert are his sons, Robert H. Breedlove Jr. and wife, Linda of Dove Creek and Wes Breedlove and wife, Pat also of Dove Creek; by his granddaughter, Diana Smith; great grandson, Eric Chick; and great great grandchildren, Shelby and Shawnie. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, LaVerne (Gray) Breedlove; eight siblings; and his granddaughter, Greta Ross. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions may be made in memory of Robert Breedlove Sr. to a worthy charity.
