Richard Clay 'Dick' Richmond

Richard “Dick” Richmond was born June 12, 1932 in Trinidad, Colorado, the son of Walter F. and Margaret Mary Richmond. He passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Vista Mesa Assisted Living in Cortez at the age of 89.
Dick served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War, achieving the rank of Sergeant. After being honorably discharged, he had a long career in education, earning a master’s degree in education and later serving as superintendent of schools in Dove Creek, Colorado.
Surviving Richard is his son, Paul Clay Richmond of Bishop, California. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Geoffery Richmond; and his sister, Jill Young.
