Rhea Louise Curran

RHEA LOUISE CURRAN Memorial services for longtime Rico resident, Rhea Louise Curran will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 9 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Rhea was born December 5, 1914 in Los Angeles, Calif. She passed away at Vista Grande Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at the age of 92. Very active within the Rico community, Rhea was involved with the Rico Women’s Club and the Rico Historical Society. She was also known for organizing fund raisers for children’s activities. Rhea was a devoted member of the Catholic Church. Surviving Rhea are her two sons, Michael Curran and wife, Leslee of Rico, Colo. and Patrick Curran and wife, Joan of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren, Kevin, Kendra, Tim, Kevin and Katy Curran; seven great grandchildren, Brittany, Corey, Jordan, Charolett, Hunter, Quinn, and Jarrett; and her siblings, Shaun and Arliegh both of Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Curran in 1982; and her daughter, Shelley.
