REGINA GAYLE MARBLE Funeral services for Cortez resident Regina Gayle Marble will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 4 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Cremation will follow the funeral service. Regina was born August 2, 1957 in Phoenix, Ariz. the daughter of Wilden Marble and Joyclyn Soter. She passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at her residence at the age of 50. Regina joined the United States Army in 1975 and dedicated four years of her life to the service. She was a very kind person who was loving to all. Regina was a gifted artist who loved animals and music. She also collected stuffed bears and in her free time she enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking and just being outdoors in nature. Surviving Regina is her daughter, Tracie Maier. She is also survived by her adoptive family she considered her own, including her mother, Angie Murphy of Dove Creek; and her sisters, Judy Shepherd, Christina Murphy of Collbran, Colo., and Angel Murphy of Dove Creek. Regina was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Sebastian Anthony Marble; and her brother, William Marble.
