WALTER REED BRANSON Funeral services for longtime area resident Walter Reed Branson will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16 at Arriola Bible Church. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery. Reed was born January 29, 1925 in Springfield, Colo. the son of Charles Oscar and Leonora Ethel (Clayton) Branson. He passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 92. Reed is survived by his loving wife, Marjie Branson of Dolores; his children, Terry Branson (Toni) of Dolores, Radonna Vinger (Dan Cripps) of Dolores, and Rodney Branson (Debbie) of Cortez; by four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, and by 11 great-grandchildren; by his sister, Eva Lisenbury of California; and by his sister-in-law, Georgie Branson of Missouri. Reed was preceded in death by his parents; by his son, Larry Branson; by his siblings, Robert Branson, Vernon Branson, Irvin Branson, Harold Branson, Ray Branson, Fern Hensley, Margaret Fiskdall, and Betty Ruth Darland; and by his son-in-law, Gregory Vinger. Memorial contributions may be made in Reed Bransons name to the Lewis Arriola Fire Department.
