RAYMOND PHILLIPS Funeral services for lifelong Aneth resident Raymond Phillips will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Raymond was born July 15, 1931 in Aneth, Utah. He passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, N.M. at the age of 85. Surviving Raymond are his wife, Rose Lansing Phillips of Aneth; his children, Nora Miller Leonar of Aneth, James Phillips (Elsie) of Teec Nos Pos, Ariz. Sara Durrett of Cortez, Gary Phillips of Cortez, George Phillips (Mary Jane) of Aneth, Linda Phillips (Raymond) of Albuquerque, N.M., Nancy Blackmore (Floyd) of Dove Creek, Gilbert Phillips (Bessie) of Aneth, Elmerson Phillips (Deena) of Aneth, Connie Phillips of Aneth, Jaoquin Phillips of Albuquerque, N.M., and Vernon Phillips of Aneth; and by 37 grandchildren, 60 great-great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents.
