Born Ralph Orona, he would tell you that JR stood for “Just Right”. He was a devoted son, spouse, brother, father and the proudest grandpa (Bello)! He was a cowboy at heart and quick on the draw with a joke. He could manufacture a solution to any problem like MacGyver. He wanted to be noted in history as “ the dancing fool” ‘cause the man could cut-a-rug. Music and dancing brought him so much joy! He didn't count the days, he made the days count! JR suffered more than his fair share of pain and injustice but it never stopped him from fighting for his truth and those he loved. He left his legacy behind in his children, children inlaws, and grandchildren and certainly left his mark on the world in what he created with his hands. He was ushered into the light by his savior Jesus Christ in the presence of his wife, kids and only brother. His presence is already deeply mourned.
Surviving JR are his beloved wife Tracy Orona of Sitka, Alaska; his children Nathaniel Orona (Angie) of Cortez and Casey Orona (Zak Wass) of Sitka, Alaska; his grandchildren Stella, Indigo and Jamison Orona; and his brother Mark Orona (Hope May) of Springerville, Arizona.
