RALPH CLEVELAND FOOTE Ralph Cleveland Foote was born October 12, 1948 in Upland, Calif. to Charles "Happy" Foote and Ruth (Hall) Foote. He passed away in Dolores, Colo. on Thursday, November 3, 2016. Ralph was a 1967 graduate of Montezuma-Cortez High School. He married Diane Bush in Bayfield, Colo. and to this union three children were born, Ronald, Brian and Tiffany. Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Air Force including a tour of duty in Viet Nam. After he left the service he worked as a drill rig operator and spent six years as a Deputy with the Montezuma County Sheriff's Department. Ralph was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He spent many hours hunting and camping in the mountains that he loved so much. Ralph is survived by his sons, Ronald Dean Foote of Panama City Beach, Florida and Brian Hal Foote of Towaoc, Colo.; his daughter, Tiffany Marie McCabe of Carson City, Nev.; his grandchildren, Justin Foote (Victoria) of Panama City Beach, Florida, Ronald Foote (Carla) of Fort Bragg, N.C., Harley Foote of Panama City Beach, Florida, Shaylee Gurney of Cortez, Thomas Foote of Farmington, N.M., Christopher McCabe of Carson City, Nev., and Emily McCabe of Carson City, Nev.; as well as several great-grandchildren; his uncle, Bill Foote of Cortez; his aunts, Betty Mueller of Mayview, Mo., Pat Wyett of Castle Rock, Colo., and Esther Lynch of Marshall, Mo.; as well as numerous cousins who will miss him greatly. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Charles David "Happy" Foote and Ruth Eloise (Hall) Foote; his brothers, Charles Dale Foote and David Eugene Foote; his sister, Eileen Ruth Foote; and by his beloved niece, Charleen Susan Foote-Beeman.
