Patricia Ann Temple

December 11, 1951 — February 4, 2013

PATRICIA ANN TEMPLE Patricia Ann Draheim Temple. Mustang angel and lover of all wildlife, words cannot come close to describing the dynamo that was Pati and the heartbreak is raw. Pati passed away at sunset on February 4, 2013, peacefully at home surrounded by her family, friends and cherished pets. Born in Ithaca, New York in 1951 to Charles and Carol Draheim, she is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, David Temple; her dear sister, Marcie Draheim; brothers, Steven and Michael Draheim; nieces, Kim Mai and Ai lien Draheim; and favorite cousins, Lyn Draheim-Rezabek and Jeff English. No words can describe Pati's love of animals. She was a lifelong advocate for animals because she often said that they cannot speak for themselves, and was always known to rescue any animal in need. She was a strong supporter of For Pets' Sake Humane Society and was a founding member of the National Mustang Association Colorado chapter (Spring Creek Basin Herd). A celebration of Pati's life is being planned. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Pati Temple Memorial Fund, c/o For Pets' Sake Humane Society, PO Box 1705, Cortez, Colo. 81321, (www.forpetessakehs.org) or the Colorado Chapter of the National Mustang Association, PO Box 277, Dolores, Colo. 81323.
