PATRICIA ANN RICHARDS Funeral services for Cortez resident Patricia Ann Richards will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 30 at Ertel Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Bland officiating. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Visitation has been set for Monday afternoon from 3 5 p.m. at Ertel Chapel. Pat was born June 29, 1932 in Los Angeles, Calif. the daughter of Nelson Purdue and Alta Lucielle (Holdridge) Livingstone. She passed away at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at the age of 78. Many will remember Pat from her days working at NuWay Western Store for 14 years and then at Slavens Lumber and Hardware for 16 years. She was accomplished at leatherwork and beadwork. Pat enjoyed the outdoors whether it was irrigating or camping, picnicking, fishing or hunting arrowheads. Surviving Pat are her only son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Lynda Gosnell of Cortez; her granddaughter, Amber Barner and husband, Mike of Cortez; and her great granddaughters, Jenna and Alyssa Barner of Cortez. Pat is also survived her sister, Cecilia Ullmann of Cortez; two nieces, Sherry Lynn of Cortez and Louann Foster of Anchorage, Alaska; and by her cousin, Ann Braslin and husband, Dick of Poania, Colo.
