NANCY CONRAD ERWIN Funeral services for lifelong Cortez resident, Nancy Conrad Erwin will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2005 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Chandler Chaffin will be officiating. A visitation has been scheduled at the Ertel Chapel on Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Nancy was born on Nov. 17, 1922 in Yellow Jacket the daughter of Charles Wesley and Nancy Ethel (Stevenson) Wilson. She passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2005 at her residence at the age of 82. Nancy loved playing card games of any kind; going fishing and camping; playing softball and horseshoes; and enjoyed family gatherings. She was a proud member of the Yellow Jacket Grange, Yellow Jacket Ladies Club, a bridge club and a Saturday Night Poker Club. Surviving Nancy are her children, Donna Pribble and husband, Ron of Dove Creek, Karen Conrad of New Castle, Colo., Wayne Conrad and wife, Brenda of Eagle, Colo., and Glenna Oliver and husband, Eddie of Pleasant View. She leaves 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; her siblings, Marge Crowley and husband, J.W., Nellie Bradfield, Faye Bertrand all of Cortez, and Larry Wilson and wife, Eloise of California; and her very close friend, Rose Snyder of Cortez. She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Everett Byron Conrad and Lillard Alvin Erwin; her daughter, Deanna Joyce Conrad; granddaughter, Shaney Erin Conrad; and her siblings, Elsie Chaffin, Dorothy Wood, Paul Wilson, Arthur Wilson, Glen Wilson, and Jim Wilson.
