MILDRED B. BIGNELL Graveside services for Mancos, Colo. resident Mildred B. Bignell will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2 at Fleming Cemetery in Morse Bluff, Neb. Mildred was born on May 17, 1918 in North Platte, Neb. the daughter of George and Sadie (Tetterton) Star. She passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2009 in Cortez, Colo. at the age of 91. Mildred was a member of Chapter #72 of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bradenton, Fla. Mildred also devoted time to the Tampa Chapter of the Parliamentarian Association and the National Chapter of Parliamentarians. Surviving Mildred are her son, James W. Bignell and wife, Ruth of Mancos, Colo.; her granddaughter, Kristy Fulgham; her great-grandchildren, Clayton, Jacob, and Lucas Fulghum; and her siblings, Marge Dougherty of Fairfax, Va. and George Star of North Platte, Neb. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband, James F. Bignell. Memorial contributions may be made in Mildred�s name to Southeastern Guide Dogs, Inc. 4210 77th Street East, Palmetto, Fla. 34221 or to All Children�s Hospital of St. Petersburg 801 6th Street South, St. Petersburg, Fla. 33701.
