MICHAEL MAURICE MOORE Memorial services for longtime area resident Michael Maurice Moore will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 4 at San Juan Regional Medical Center Healing Garden in Farmington, N.M. Mr. Darrell Erwin will officiate. Michael was born on March 18, 1947 in Shreveport, Louisiana, the son of Maurice L. and Martha (Morris) Moore. He passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at Mercy Regional Medical Center at the age of 60. Michael started his career as a Paramedic. He furthered his education and became a Registered Nurse. At the time of his passing, Michael worked at San Juan Regional Hospital. In his free time, Michael enjoyed camping, four wheeling and being in the mountains. Surviving Michael are his wife, Christy Moore of Cortez; his parents, Maurice and Martha Moore of Platte City, Missouri; his daughter, Keeley Ann Moore of Albuquerque, N.M.; his sisters, Pamela Moore of Kansas City, Missouri, and Nancy Crane and husband, Raymond of Platte City, Missouri; his step-children, Andre Lobato of Aztec, N.M., and Janae Pearce and husband, Tim of Cortez; five grandsons; and one granddaughter. Memorial contributions may be made in Michael Moore’s name to San Juan Regional Hospital.
