MARY JANE WATKINS Funeral services for longtime Dove Creek resident Mary Jane Watkins will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 29 at Pioneer Center in Dove Creek. Interment will follow at Dove Creek Cemetery. Mary was born December 2, 1927 in Hugoton, Kan. the daughter of Robert Elree and Zelma (Lofland) Young. She passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at her residence at the age of 90. Surviving Mary are her children, Barbara Watkins Morton (Herschel) of Dove Creek, Roger Watkins (Dessie) of Dove Creek, and Andrew Watkins (Connie) of Lewis; her grandchildren, Clinton Morton, Jeremy Watkins, Wyatt Watkins, Casey Watkins, Kayla Watkins, Travis Watkins, Joleen Williams, Katie Williams, Sarah Padilla, Leah Thornton, and Seth Barber; by three great-grandchildren; and by her sister, Dorothy Holiday. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Virgil Clayton Watkins; and by her siblings, Robert and Francis Young.
