LOLA MARY PAULI Lola Mary Pauli passed away at her Mancos home on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the age of 84. She was born the daughter of George Alfred and Mary Edna (Wilkins) Rietz on May 28, 1927 in Great Falls, Mont. Lola was a seamstress by trade making everything from baby clothes to wedding dresses. Lola married the love of her life Floyd Pauli, with whom she shared 64 years. Together they had three sons Terry, Steve and Neil. In her free time she kept her hands busy cooking, baking, crocheting and doing needlework. She gave her time as a 4-H leader and worked for the US Postal Service. She also loved to fish and travel. She is survived by two of her sons Terry Lee Pauli of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Steve E. Pauli and wife Christy of Mancos, Colorado, grandson Edward of Gillette, Wyo, great-grandson Jonathan and his parents Dan & Amy Jacobs of Whitefish, Mont. and great-granddaughter Alaina Pauli. of Gillette, Wyo and by two sisters, Georgia Mae Rietz of Kalispell, Mont. and Betty Lou VanDeKop of Cutbank, Mont. Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Ambrose Pauli in February, 2008; and by a son, Neil Warren Pauli. Lola has been blessed with friends of all ages that have surrounded her with love and support. Her extended family has brought joy and fulfillment to her life. Bobbi Jo, Sam, Erin, Alexa and Brooklyn were her "Kalispell grandkids" who brightened her life. Cremation has taken place with services to be held in Montana at a later date.
