LENA MARK LANSING Funeral services for lifelong Aneth resident, Lena Mark Lansing will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Cortez Cemetery. Lena was born on Oct. 24, 1936 in Bluff, Utah. She passed away on Friday, Feb. 13, 2004 at the Vista Grande Nursing Home at the age of 67. Survivng Lena are her children, Gracie Jim and husband, Marvin of Cortez, Pearlene Arizona and husband Billy Sr. of Tuba City, Ariz., Laura Whiterock and husband, Dennis, Sherry Peraves and husband, Roy each of Cortez, Raylen Lansing and wife, Alondra of Aneth, Utah, Rex Lansing and wife, Lucy of Cortez, and Rosslyn Lansing and wife, Regina of Aneth, Utah. She leaves 29 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Lena was an only child, but had numerous stepbrothers and sisters, as well as nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Thomas Handy Lansing; her daughter, Loretta Lansing; and a grandson Thomas Arizona.
