LARRY ELDON BINGHAM Larry Eldon Bingham was born January 18, 1940 in Longmont, Colo. the son of Arther and Irene (Tarr) Bingham. He passed away at his Dove Creek home on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the age of 74. Larry owned and operated Bingham Construction, Inc. He also owned Rusty's Bar in Dove Creek for several years. Larry was a member of the Troy Young VFW Post #5181 in Dove Creek as well as the Montrose Carpenter's Union. Loving the outdoors, Larry enjoyed horseback riding, hunting, and fishing. Surviving Larry are his daughter, Julie Bingham of Dove Creek; sons, Jerry Bingham and wife, Susan of Delta, Colo., Johnny Bingham and wife, Ronda of Montrose, Colo., and Jesse Bingham and wife, Cara of Dove Creek; stepson, Kim Tacke of Aurora, Colo.; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Ann Ellis of Denver, Colo., Lorraine Sturgen and husband, Dallas of Denver, Colo., and Jean Scott and husband, Mike of Olathe, Colo.; brother, Harlan Bingham and wife, Sharon of Olathe, Colo.; and sister in law, Leola Bingham of Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Bingham; parents, Arther and Irene Bingham; brother, Tommy Bingham; and brother in law, Warren Ellis. Cremation has taken place and a family memorial service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's name to the Alec Taber Scholarship Fund, Attn: ROCK, P.O. Box 364, Dove Creek, Colo. 81324.
