Graveside services for Kay Jerry Begay will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Cortez Cemetery. Pastor Lynn J. Begay will officiate.
Kay was born October 10, 1938 in Hatch, Utah the son of Cyrus J. and Madeline (Jones) Begay. He passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Vista Grande Inn at the age of 83.
Surviving Kay are his siblings, Irene Ben of Cahone Mesa, Utah, Veva Jones (Willis) of Aneth, Utah, Pastor H. Jerry Begay (Mary) of Inscription House, Utah, Ella J. Armstrong of Farmington, N.M., and Pastor Lynn J. Begay (Lena Etcitty) of Cahone Mesa, Utah. Kay was preceded in death by his parents; and by his siblings, Nellie Billie, Bonnie Dickson, Racheal Jones, and Terrance Begay.
