Julia Lynn Grubbs

JULIA LYNN GRUBBS Funeral services for Julia Lynn Grubbs will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 21 at the Evangel Assembly of God Church in Cortez. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Pastor Jeff McDonald will officiate. Visitation will take place Monday morning from 11 a.m. to service time at the church. Julia was born on July 10, 1980 in Durango the daughter of Votaw Allison and Brenda Jean (Crites) Grubbs. She passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at her home in Grand Junction, Colo. at the age of 29. Julia was a member of the Fellowship Church in Grand Junction. She received her C.N.A. degree and worked at St. Mary's Hospital. Julia's family brought her much happiness, her children meant the world to her. Surviving Julia are her husband, Shaun Boyles of Grand Junction, Colo.; her parents, Brenda Palmer of Cortez, and Votaw Grubbs of Denver, Colo.; and her children, Isaiah Corvell, Sonia Corvell and William Boyles all of Grand Junction, Colo. She also leaves behind her step-brothers, Travis Palmer of Grand Junction, Colo., and Josh Palmer of Long Beach, Calif.; her grandparents, Delbert and Sandy Fosnot of Cahone, Ralph and Betty Crites of Cortez, Nancy Patton of Grand Junction, Colo., and George Grubbs of Arizona; and her great-grandmother, Hazel Phillips of Cortez.
