Joyce Jolanda Baca

On January 11, 2018 the Lord called an angel home after her courageous battle with cancer. Joyce J. Baca was born May 22, 1964 to Libby Baker. She married Frank Lopez June 2, 1979 and they were married 23 years, even after the marriage ended they had a friendship that would last a lifetime. They had five amazing children together. Joyce worked at City Market for many years. She had a beautiful smile and contagious laugh that will be missed by so many. She was a loving mother, daughter, and sister. She taught her daughters to be strong, and independent and her sons to be respectful, and hardworking. She had an amazing love for her family, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with them and making lasting memories. Joyce is survived by her mother, Libby Baker; her two sisters, Marcella Rush, and Julie Roe and their families; her children, Jeremy (Sara) Lopez, Frankie (Sara) Lopez, Monique Lopez, Martika Lopez, and Marque Lopez; her grandchildren, Adrian, Tristen, Poncho, Aspen, William, Jazzmine, Nevaeh, Chrislin, Gracie, Victoria, Freddie, and Ileana. Services will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Ertel Funeral Home with graveside services following.
