JOHN KELLY REYNOLDS, JR. Memorial services for longtime Cortez resident, John Kelly Reynolds, Jr. will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 6 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Reverend Jimmie Burton will be officiating. John was born on August 19, 1928 in Greensboro, N.C. the son of John Kelly and Ethel (Korn) Reynolds, Sr. He passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at the Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 76. John was a career Navy Veteran who spent 21 years as a Submarine Sailor. He is survived by his wife, Callie Reynolds of Cortez; and his daughters, Delores and Carol. He leaves several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; as well as two sisters, Louise and Virginia. Preceding him in death were his parents; and his sister, Marie. John will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
