John Henry Dickson

Funeral services for Cortez resident John Henry Dickson will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. John Shriner will officiate. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery.
John was born January 14, 1924 in Chandler, Oklahoma the son of Ruby Elton and Lou Berta (Cassidy) Dickson. He passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Vista Grande Inn at the age of 94.
John married Rose Marie Watson on June 30, 1951 in Chandler, Oklahoma. He was a past Master, Cortez Masonic Lodge #133, AF & AM.
Surviving John are his children, Mark Dickson (Dolores Cugnini) of Durango, CO, Clay Dickson (Cindy) of Cortez, CO, Cynthia Browning (Tom) of Flagstaff, AZ; his brother, James Elton Dickson (Doris) of Chandler, OK; and eight grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents, his spouse, Rose Marie Dickson, and his sister, Phyllis Ann Dickson.
