Jody Alene Chinn

Funeral services for Cortez resident Josephine Alene “Jody” Chinn will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church in Cortez. Pastor Jean Schwien will officiate. Visitation will take place at the end of the service. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery.
Jody was born May 4, 1928 in Lafayette, CO the daughter of Alvah George and Rose (Litvac) Lemley. She passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Vista Grande Inn at the age of 91.
Surviving Jody are her daughter, Becky Chinn (Robert ‘Rob’ Burkart) of Cortez, CO; her grandchildren, Ashley Chinn and Nikki Chinn; and her great grandson, Zane. Jody was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lewis Miner Chinn; her son, Michael Chinn; and her siblings, Haddie Lemley, Jim Lemley and George Lemley.
