JOANNA ANNE LANER Funeral services for lifelong Towaoc resident Joanna Anne Laner will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Towaoc Cemetery. Visitation has been scheduled for Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ertel Chapel. Joanna was born May 23, 1964 in Cortez the daughter of John Parker Laner and Sarah Lee Jacket. She passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 52. Joanna was a fan of the Green Bay Packer football team. She loved her dogs and cats and riding horses. Joanna enjoyed drawing and hunting, building puzzles and riding her motorcycle. Surviving Joanna are her siblings, Nola Wesaw (Glen), Johnny Laner, George Wells Jr., Sandy Kuebler (Raymond), Byron Laner, Annabell Laner (Carl Hamlin), Lori Laner, and Clarissa Whiskers (Kendall) all of Towaoc; her partner Dorothy Begaye of Red Mesa, Ariz.; and by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Joanna was preceded in death by her parents.
