James Joseph 'Jim' Davenport

James Joseph ‘Jim’ Davenport was born April 26, 1936 in Merced, CA the son of Amos and Josephine (Whelan) Davenport. He passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 at his residence in Cortez, CO at the age of 83.
Surviving Jim are his son, Kevin O’Dell of IL; his step-son, Shawn Powell of College Station, TX; his step-daughter, Rhonda Powell of Cortez, CO; his granddaughter, Stephanie Hagemann (Bryant) of IL; his grandson, Alex O’Dell (Alyssa) of IL; and his sister, Sara Sullivan. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Janie Lee (Richardson) Davenport; his siblings, Celia Ireland, Emily Schmeltz, and Layra Balch.
