James Dwight Burney

James Dwight Burney was born February 24, 1948 in Dorena, MS the son of Charlie and Martha Evelyn (Hall) Burney. He passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020at his residence in Cortez, CO at the age of 72.
Surviving James are his daughter, Rhonda Shaner of Cortez, CO; his son, James Burney of Cortez, CO; his siblings, Charlie Dale Burney of Kevil, KY, Janie Darleen Jernigan of East Prairie, MO, Melvin Dewayne Burney of East Prairie, MO, and Brian Douglas Burney of East Prairie, MO; and his grandson, Brandon Scott Tilden (Shaner) of Cortez, CO. James was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Patricia Ann Chance.
