IVAN SHUTT Funeral services for lifelong area resident, Ivan Shutt will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31 at the Dove Creek Cemetery. Visitation has been set for Tuesday afternoon from 3-5 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Ivan was born the son of Robert and Evelyn (Estes) Shutt in Cortez on July 21, 1952. He passed away at Southwest Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, March 24, 2004. He was 51 years old. By trade, Ivan was an auto mechanic. He loved fishing and panning for gold. Surviving Ivan are his wife, Sandra Shutt whom he married on Sept. 30, 1999 up the West Fork; a daughter Tammy and her children; and his stepchildren, Rick Mueller and wife, Robbin of Farmington, N.M., and Jamie Mueller of Cortez and her children, Ariana and Ryland. His parents, Robert and Evelyn Shutt of Dove Creek; his brothers, Emil Shutt and wife, Sherry of Dove Creek, and Donald Shutt and wife, Diane of Cortez; and his sister, Ann Berry and husband, J.R. of Cortez also survive Ivan.
