Halina Lucyna Robinson

HALINA LUCYNA ROBINSON Memorial services for Cortez resident, Halina Lucyna Robinson will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 13 at the Anglican Church in Cortez. Halina was born June 30, 1952 in Kalvaria, Poland to Eugeniusz and Maria (Kazio) Drozdziak. She passed away on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Valley Inn Nursing Home at the age of 59. Halina received a Master's of Law at Madame Marie Curie University in Poland. She then was employed as a State's Attorney for the Polish government. Halina moved to the United States in 1975, residing in California. She moved to Chicago in 1976 and while there she married Lance R. Robinson on October 16, 1982. The couple moved to Cortez in 2003. Halina was a member of the Anglican Church and she and Lance greatly enjoyed taking walks together. Surviving Halina are her husband of 29 years, Lance Robinson of Cortez; and her siblings, Eugene Drozdziak, Marisha, and Aleksandra Golak. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial contributions may be made in Halina's name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
