GRACE ALEXANDER SINOR Graveside services for longtime Cortez resident Grace Alexander Sinor will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 22 at the Cortez Cemetery. Chaplain Marvin Graves will officiate. Grace was born on February 28, 1921 in Seguin, Tex. the daughter of Alvy Jack and Ethel (Elder) Alexander. She passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at the Valley Inn Nursing Home at the age of 86. On July 10, 1958, Grace married George “Marshall” Sinor in Beeville, Tex. Grace thoroughly enjoyed hunting and time spent with Marshall. Surviving Grace are her daughters, Marion Lee Goodall and husband, Ray of Cortez, Marjorie L. Johnson and husband, Elston of Pleasant View, and Sharon K. Tanner and husband, Darwin Lee of Homedale, Idaho; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Grace was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marshall Sinor; and five brothers and sisters.
