GLENDEANA MARIE CRESSLER Funeral services for lifelong Cahone, Colo. resident Glendeana Marie Cressler will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 18 at the First Baptist Church in Dove Creek with Mr. Brett Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Dove Creek Cemetery. Glendeana was born August 21, 1943 in Moab, Utah the daughter of Glenn Neely and Charlotte Virginia (Wilhite) Smith. She passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo. on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the age of 70. On February 14, 1964 in Dove Creek, Glendeana married Raymond Cressler. They shared 30 years of marriage before Raymond's death in 1994. Glendeana loved to read, hunt rocks, and put together jigsaw puzzles. She loved being outdoors camping and fishing. Surviving Glendeana are her children, Charlotte Miller, Mary Martin and husband, Brett, Shawna Sparks, Dustin Cressler, and Gary Cressler and wife, Katina all of Dove Creek; 16 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; brother, Ray Smith and wife, Dianne of Dove Creek; companion, Wayne Searcy of Cahone; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cressler; parents, Glenn and Charlotte Smith; stepfather, Clayton Weese; and a brother, Jerry Smith. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Bank of Colorado in Dove Creek.
